Empowering Your Educational Journey
The Thinking Hand Institute
An Institution Focused on the Study of the Language of Drawing
The Thinking Hand Institute is a community and learning platform dedicated to educating, nourishing and revitalising the culture of drawing - reintroducing the Language of Drawing as a vital way of seeing, thinking, and creating.
We champion educational excellence and education choice to professions, students and the general lay-person.
We believe in the importance of a right-hemispheric method of thinking, and one way to do that is by learning how to draw.
We work to change the culture that typically prizes a left (brain) hemispheric method of thinking by appealing to culture and science to reiterate the importance of a right (brain) hemispheric method of thinking through drawing.
Together, we seek to enrich and influence public discourse; provide educational materials to help realise the promise and potential of bringing back a right hemispheric method of thinking through the tools of the human hand.

Where Sacred Geometry Meets Ancient Architecture
Inspired by the magnificent stone capitals of the ancient Levant, this T-shirt celebrates one of the earliest and most influential architectural traditions in history.
The back features an original architectural study line drawing of a Royal Phoenician Capital, thoughtfully composed as a complete column to honour the elegance, proportion, and geometric order of this remarkable architectural form. Known in archaeological literature as the Proto-Aeolic capital, these finely carved capitals are considered among the predecessors of the later Ionic order and stand as enduring symbols of the architectural achievements of the ancient Near East.
During the reign of King David in the 10th century BC, the Phoenician King Hiram of Tyre sent skilled craftsmen and builders to Jerusalem. Their expertise continued into the reign of King Solomon, where Phoenician artisans played an important role in the construction of the First Temple. Archaeological discoveries throughout the region—including beautifully carved royal capital fragments uncovered in what is believed to be the City of David—offer a glimpse into this extraordinary architectural tradition.
On the front, the words "Sacred Geometry" are rendered in a reconstructed Phoenician script, paying tribute to one of the world's earliest alphabetic writing systems and the civilisation whose craftsmanship helped shape the architecture of the ancient Mediterranean.
Crafted from premium organic combed ringspun cotton, this T-shirt is designed for everyday comfort while celebrating the timeless relationship between geometry, architecture, and craftsmanship.
Perfect for young architects, curious minds, and anyone inspired by the beauty of the ancient world.
